At least one ex-serviceman should be included at every level of governance and administration - Anna

16 October 2021 , Headquarters, Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha , 133 B Modal Town East, Ghaziabad - Speaking as the chief guest at a nation wide webinar here today, a highly respected member of the National Vanguard of the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, honest and proud like 24 carat gold. Anna Hazare said that we have retired from the army, not from service. He told how Ralegan Siddhi, who had drowned in the pit of intoxication, was raised and made an ideal village. Here check dams were made and rain water was stopped. Where there used to be only one crop in 300 acres, now there are two crops in 1200 acres. Taking the example of this, he said that in every village of India, one ex-serviceman will definitely be found. The responsibility of ex-servicemen does not end with retirement, but increases more. When he remains in the army, he keeps the country safe from external wars and terrorists and when he retires, he should himself take the responsibility of providing internal security to the country. Anna Hazare also said that if at least one ex-serviceman is included at the constitutional level at every level of governance and administration, then within a month the corruption index level of the country will be reduced. It is not necessary that ex-servicemen should be given a fat salary, but a nominal nominal salary given with respect will also suffice. Anna Hazare ji emphasized on selfless service, good character, ability to feel insult, constant effort and honesty.

Col Tejendra Pal Tyagi, the National President of the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, who received the Vir Chakra, said that since independence, the governments had started undermining the army. He said that think and see that whenever there is any natural or artificial disaster in the country, the army is called and the situation comes under control. Earthquake in Uttar Kashi, Tsunami in Nicobar, Bridge in Common Wealth Game, Drought in Orissa, Flood in West Bengal, Earthquake in Bhuj, Komi Riots in Lucknow or any child 200 feet deep In any such disaster, the army was called and the mission was completed. It is amazing, in India of 135 crores, only about 14 lakhs army, which should protect the border of about 15 thousand km and also handle the disasters. This is possible because every soldier in the army has conscientiousness, training, discipline and honesty. All these things are also with the ex-servicemen. Now imagine that if at least one ex-serviceman at each level of governance and administration is included on a nominal salary, then surely the corruption index of the country will be halved in a month.
