On 23 March 2022, the statues of Chandra Shekhar Azad, Raj Guru and Sukh Dev were unveiled at the Kargil Martyrs Memorial established in Shukratal, Muzaffarnagar, on the occasion of the National Convention of the National Military Association.

The statues of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and Sardar Bhagat Singh have already been installed at the Kargil Martyrs Memorial by the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha which was unveiled by the then Home Minister Hon'ble Shri Raj Nath Singh in 2018.
Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi, National President of the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, said that this will be the first time in the country when the aarti of martyrs will be started on the lines of Ganga Maa Aarti. Therefore, Kargil Martyrs Memorial should be made a national heritage. In-principle approval has also been received.
National Secretary Rajendra Baggasi and President of Uttar Pradesh Sanstha Captain Suresh Tyagi said that the Kargil Martyrs Memorial is a two-storeyed building built on two acres, which Swami Omanand Ji Maharaj, patron of Swami Kalyan Dev Trust, handed over free of cost and duly to the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha.
