In the meeting, Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi, the National President of the National Military Association, who received the Vir Chakra, told that this plan is neither Mandatory nor Obligatory. This scheme is voluntary. That is, the youth who do not see their future secure in this scheme, they should not come. Colonel Tyagi said that the tension that is presently with China and Pakistan was not like this before, so this plan was brought to make the army young and modern. The budget of the army is about 5 lakh crores and the payment of pension / salary is about 3 lakh crores. Hence Agni Veer Yojana was brought to fulfill both the objectives.

Agni heroes will get more benefit from this scheme than they expected. In studies, in business and also in jobs. He said that instead of the leaders instigating the students, the Army Chief, Naval Chief and Air Force Chief should obey.

District Magistrate Shri Rakesh Kumar fully supported the Agni Veer scheme. Called all ex-servicemen to inform the youth of their respective areas about this.

The District Magistrate has even said that a scheme like Agni Veer, in which four should be recruited instead of one, out of which one should be kept and instead of removing three, another option should be given, should be implemented in UPSC as well.

He said that this scheme should be implemented in the examination of IAS and IPS also.
