The British Prime Minister said that he left India because of the fear of Subhash, not because of Ga

9 March 2025, Constitution Club, Rafi Marg, New Delhi: Today, the Delhi unit of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha organized a program in honor of 100-year-old Lieutenant Rangaswamy Madhavan Pillai, a senior soldier of the Azad Hind Fauj.

Rear Admiral S Kulshreshtha said that the time has come to rewrite history. He said that we are not saying but the then Prime Minister of Britain Mr. Edmund Attlee, who signed the document of India's independence, himself admitted that they left India because of the activities of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Mr. Edmund Attlee had told the judge of the Calcutta High Court and the Honorable Governor of West Bengal P.B. Chakravarti that due to the leadership of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, two and a half lakh soldiers of India had revolted and that is why they had to leave India in a hurry. When asked, Mr. Edmund Attlee had also said that Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi's contribution in leaving India was negligible.

Major General M.L. Aswal, speaking as a special guest, said that the Azad Hind Fauj had badly defeated the British in the battle of Moirang (Manipur) on 14 April 1944 and formally established the Azad Hind Government which remained in operation for about 4 months.

Major General Ranjit Singh appealed to the youth of the country to take inspiration from the patriotism of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and expose the lies that have been told till date -"De di hume aazadi bina khadak bina dhaal, Sabarmati ke sant tune kar diya kamal".

National President of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, Veer Chakra recipient Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi felicitated 100-year-old Lieutenant Rangaswamy Madhavan Pillai and told that when the British tried Major General Shahnawaz, Colonel Sehgal and Colonel Dhillon in Red Fort, Lieutenant Madhavan Pillai was also tried. Lieutenant Pillai was also in British prison for ten months. He has made a huge contribution in recruiting soldiers in Azad Hind Fauj and collecting funds.

While organizing today's program, Delhi unit convenor Shri Ved Prakash said that if only the history of the next 30 years from the 13th year of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's life is read, then every person will become a good citizen and a good patriot.

Colonel Mukesh Tyagi told that the sad thing is that in India, the soldiers of Azad Hind Fauj were harassed, were not given pension and were not even taken into the Indian Army. However, Pakistan recruited soldiers of Azad Hind Fauj in its army like General Mohammad Kayani, Colonel Habibur Rehman, Ishan Qadir, Burhan Ud Din etc.

Mr. Hitesh Sharma of Cultural Wing played the role of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose

Mrs. Raj Sharma, Mr. Rajiv Khosla, President of Eastern UP Mr. P.S. Singh, Mrs. Urvashi Walia and the entire House demanded that a separate chapter on Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose be included in the school syllabus and the families of Azad Hind Fauj should not only be given pension like freedom fighters but their participation in power should also be ensured.
