12 March 2025, Shubh International School, Akhnoor, Jammu – Col. Tejendra Pal Tyagi, Vir Chakra winner and National President of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, Hero of Indo-Pak War of 1971, visited Shubh International School here today. He appreciated the tireless efforts of the Principal of the school, Smt. Shilpa Mahajan for her dedication and hard work. He praised her for her pivotal role in growing the school from 18 students to 800 students. Smt. Shilpa Mahajan also serves as State President of Women Wing of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, Jammu & Kashmir State.

Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha is a 24 years old registered, non-political organization comprising both ex-servicemen and patriotic citizens. The organization is dedicated to promoting the spirit of nationalism and inculcating respect for the nation within the society. On this occasion, the students and teachers of the school took a pledge to say ‘Jai Hind’ to each other as a symbol of respect and patriotism.

Colonel Tyagi encouraged the students, boosted their morale and awarded trophies to the students who excelled. He also told the students about the importance of discipline, hard work and patriotism. The school administration and students thanked Colonel Tyagi for his inspiring words and pledged to maintain the spirit of national service.
