12 April 2025, Deep Utsav Bhawan, Hapur Meerut Road, Hapur - A meeting of the top officials of the Hapur unit of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha was held here today. The National President of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha also participated in this meeting.

National President of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, Veer Chakra recipient Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi said that our objectives also include raising our voice against the evils prevalent in the society. At present, in almost all the cities, the municipalities wait for the number of potholes in the road to increase and the potholes to become bigger so that tenders can be issued for building the road again. This is wrong.

Colonel Tyagi said that the Nagar Palika is not a construction organization. The job of the Nagar Palika is to do maintenance which should be done immediately. Therefore, annual maintenance contracts should be issued to fill potholes in the roads, remove sewage blockages and keep the street lights on.

Hapur unit president and Uttar Pradesh spokesperson Mr Gyanendra Tyagi said that if the Nagar Palika keeps a big vehicle with some gravel, some tar, some heating coil and a tradesman who is available 24X7, it will be called QRT (Quick Reaction Team). In such a situation, on getting information about any small or big pothole on the road, the Quick Reaction Team will go and fill it immediately.
