15 April 2025, DGS, Guest House, Meja Road, Prayagraj: - Today, in the character building program organized by Shri Prem Shankar Singh, President of Eastern Uttar Pradesh unit of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, Dr. KP Srivastava, Member, Legislative Council, MLC, Shri Rajan Chhibber, Chairman, National Economic Council, Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, Honorable Shri Umesh Chandra Ganesh Kesarwani, Mayor, Prayagraj, while addressing more than 500 people, said in their own words that tolerance should be 100 percent in personal character but tolerance should be zero in national character.
The special thing that came out is that the first step for character building is discipline. It also came to light that whenever there is a question of security of the country, compassion, kindness, tolerance, hospitality, non-violence, justice and truth do not matter. Only victory and security matter.
In his address, National President of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, Veer Chakra recipient Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi said that we do perform shraddh for our ancestors but why don't we perform shraddh for those martyrs because of whom our existence is still intact. This karma is a part of character. Forgiving the enemy of the nation is not a part of national character. If Prithviraj Chauhan had not forgiven Mohammad Gauri by showing tolerance, history would have been different today.
Commodore Vijay Shankar Babele said that the syllabus of initial military training that we have prepared includes the duties of Article 51A of the Constitution, information about the works done by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and the need and definition of character building.

Therefore, there is a need for basic military training in schools.
