Speaking as the chief guest, NDRF Commandant DIG PK Tiwari said that the citizens of the country should always respect their soldiers. In India of 140 crores, there are about 14 lakh soldiers who not only protect the borders but also control any emergency situation in the country, whereas their number is less than 1% of the country's population.

While presiding over the program, Chairman of the National Economic Committee of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, Mr. Rajan Chhibber said that every soldier of the army is handsome, that is, he always extends his hand to help others, everywhere and throughout his life.
