29 July 2025, Agrasen Public School, Sector 1 Vaishali, Ghaziabad - Today, the children of Agrasen Public School made rakhis and wrote letters for the soldiers deployed on the border. These rakhis and letters were collected under the leadership of the school's Principal Mrs. Kalpana Maheshwari. These rakhis and letters will be handed over to the Sub Area Commander Delhi by Dainik Jagran. For this entire program, National President of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, Veer Chakra recipient Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi was invited as the chief guest.
Addressing the students and teachers of Agrasen Public School, Colonel Tyagi said that anyone can tie a Rakhi to anyone. For the progress of others and for their own safety. He said that the soldier deployed on the border does not need any help from anyone. The soldier lives for respect, not for money. But when a Rakhi reaches a soldier posted on the border in remote and difficult conditions and he gets to read a few words of affection, it is natural for his morale to increase.
