The delegation of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, after tying Rakhi on Smt. Savitri Singh Ji, requested her to convey the message of the soldiers to the Defence Minister of India, Hon. Shri Rajnath Singh Ji, who was not at home.
Delivering the message, National President of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, Vir Chakra recipient Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi said that there is no other example of the success of Operation Sindoor in the world. This could not have happened without political will, but the kind of coordination the soldiers showed, the kind of courage they showed and the intensity with which they worked is a case study in itself. Even after losing, Pakistan made its general a Field Marshal. Our request is that like Indian farmers, Indian soldiers should also be exempted from income tax.
Shri Rajan Chhibber, Air Vice Marshal Rakesh Khatri and Commodore Vijay Babele told the Defense Minister's wife, Smt. Savitri Singh that Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha is a 25-year-old, registered, apolitical and national organization in which both patriotic citizens and ex-servicemen are included. Its main objectives are: reawakening of patriotism, honouring the families of martyred soldiers, raising voice against the prevailing evil practices in the country and imparting basic military training in schools.
Colonel Rajesh, Colonel Mukesh, Gyan Singh, Chandan Singh, Ganesh Dutt, Swati Bansal, on behalf of the entire Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, wished for the speedy and complete recovery of Smt. Savitri Singh.
