Today, Lions Club Ekta Ghaziabad honoured the National President of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, Veer Chak Prapt Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi, at his residence for his valour and bravery and also honoured the National Chairman of the Economic Council of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, Mr. Rajan Chhibber.

While honouring, President of Lions Club Ekta Ghaziabad, Mrs. Neena Madan, Kusum Karva, Poonam Singhal, Vijay Sharma said that we are safe here today because of you. When we sleep peacefully, you are guarding the border under the shadow of death and danger. We are proud of you.

Colonel Tyagi said that the situation is very serious, countries unhappy with India's progress are trying to create instability, many of our opposition leaders are playing into their hands. The next war may happen even before we think. War is a very serious matter, it cannot be left to the army alone. Therefore, every citizen of the country will have to stand up with the weapon of “Jai Hind”.

Colonel Tyagi said that we are retired soldiers. Most of the soldiers serving on the border are our children. Today they are no longer the less educated soldiers of 1947. They have smart mobiles, they also watch TV. They keep getting to know the conduct and speeches of their leaders. Being a commanding officer, they ask me whether we should give our lives for such people who want to spread civil war in the country.

So to boost the morale of the soldiers, Colonel Tyagi said that we should understand the difference between personal character and national character. Tolerance in personal character should be 100% whereas tolerance in national character should be 0%. Therefore, we all should publicly and collectively boycott those who are working to destabilize the country.
