September 30, 2025, Pavan Chintan Dhara Ashram, Hisali, Ghaziabad - Today, National Patron of the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, Professor Dr. Pawan Sinha Guru Ji, National President of the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, Vir Chakra recipient Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi, Ghaziabad District President Gaurav Senani Gyan Singh, Gaurav Senani Chandan Singh, Gaurav Senani Ganesh Dutt, along with all the members present, demanded the release of Sonam Wangchuk.

Professor Dr. Pawan Sinha Guru Ji said that when the state allows mining, hydroelectric dams, and privatization of resources in vulnerable high-altitude areas, it is not protecting the nation—it is doing injustice to the nation. Sonam Wangchuk's arrest is an insult to reason, justice, and the fundamental principles of Indian democracy. The police have accused Wangchuk of "Pakistani ties." Sonam Wangchuk visited Pakistan as a climate innovator on a UN initiative, and presented his "Ice Stupa" idea—an artificial glacier technology that stores winter stream water in frozen conical mounds and slowly releases the melted water for irrigation. He also praised Narendra Modi's LiFE mission and carbon emission policies. Since Sonam Wangchuk has not committed any heinous crime, at least he should not be charged under the NSA.
