9 Nov 2025,Shastri Nagar, Ghaziabad : Today the Mahavir Chakr recipient ( Posthumous) Capt Gurjinder Singh Suri was given floral tributes on his Shadat Diwas. Maj Gen Chandel,Maj Gen Taneja,Maj Gen Rajesh,Col Tyagi laid wreath on his Idol. A good number of ex-servicemen and Patriotic Citizens were present. Half a dozen Schools presented  patriotic acts and songs.

A soldier does not die when he gives Shadat but he dies when forgotten.
