December 1, Gita Bhavan, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand: Today, Naveen Jai Hind, Haryana State Secretary of Hindustan Scouts and Haryana State President of the Youth Wing of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, concluded a 5-day camp for 500 scouts here. These scouts were gathered from schools across 22 districts of Haryana. The scouts gave a spectacular demonstration of various skills, including knot tying, building temporary bridges and shelters, escaping from fire, yoga, and pyramid formations.

Speaking as a special guest, Sadhvi Bharti, the head of Parmarth Niketan Ashram, said that one should always be prepared for war, not to defeat others, but to protect righteousness. Sadhvi Bharti enlightened the scouts about spirituality, explaining that serving the world by giving up one's selfishness is the greatest form of spirituality. Swami Chidanand Saraswati and Parmarth Niketan Ashram are dedicated to this mission 24/7.

The chief guest of the program, Colonel Tejinder Pal Tyagi, a recipient of the Vir Chakra, informed the scouts that the first step of First Aid begins with RICE. R stands for Rest, meaning remove the patient's shoes and put them in a comfortable position. I stands for Ice, meaning cool the injured area, even with a wet cloth if necessary. C stands for Compression, meaning apply gentle pressure around the injured area. E stands for Elevation, meaning raise the injured part of the body slightly above its normal position. Soldiers and scouts should use similar improvisations according to the circumstances.

The program's organizer, Naveen Jai Hind, stated that these scouts have planted 500,000 saplings, donated blood multiple times, and have consistently assisted the government in maintaining law and order.

All the officials believe that there is no other organization in the country today with the impeccable character and dynamic nature of the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, which comprises ex-servicemen and patriotic citizens.
