Addressing a press conference organized by the Muzaffarnagar unit of the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha here today, National President of the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, Vir Chakra recipient Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi, said that with the same speed with which nine terrorist hideouts were destroyed in 23 minutes in Operation Sindoor, the Indian government should exempt the salaries of soldiers from income tax. Most of them are children of farmers. If income tax is exempt for farmers, why not for soldiers? Anyway, this step is absolutely necessary to boost the morale of the soldiers currently deployed on the border.
