


April 5, 2026 | F-60, Shivapuram, Lane No. 3, Ghaziabad: Today, an eye check-up camp was organized here jointly by the Govindpuram Mandal of the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha and the Vardaan Seva Sansthan. Approximately 200 people availed themselves of free eye examinations at the camp. Out of these, a team of doctors from Vardaan Hospital took 17 individuals to the hospital for cataract surgeries, while the remaining attendees were provided with advice and medicines as per their requirements. Bone density screenings were also conducted today, and free calcium supplements were distributed.
The eye check-up camp was inaugurated by the National President of the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi, and the Patron of its Economic Council, Mr. Rajan Chhibber. Colonel Tyagi stated that, in addition to providing basic military training and honoring the families of martyrs, the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha also actively works on various social issues. Mr. Rajan Chhibber also took the opportunity to felicitate several dedicated volunteers.
Mandal President Lieutenant V.P. Sharma, National Capital Region Media In-charge Dhirendra Tripathi, and the entire team assured the public that similar health camps would continue to be organized in the future.
Dr. Amit Kumar Prajapati, Dr. Deepanshu Tyagi, Dr. Komal, Dr. R.K. Sharma, along with Nursing Assistants Sumit Kumar, Satyam, Karan, and Dilip, conducted examinations for residents of the surrounding rural areas during the five-hour eye check-up camp; these examinations included screenings for conditions such as blood pressure and diabetes.
