June 14, 2026; Aarambh Hotel & Banquet, Meelak Lachhi, Greater Noida – Today, Shankaracharya Shri Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati Ji Maharaj addressed a massive event here, organized in protest against cow slaughter.
During the event, Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi—a *Vir Chakra* awardee representing the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha—presented a coffee-table book of the organization to Shankaracharya Shri Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati Ji and sought his blessings. Dr. Nishita Dixit, Chairperson of the Women's Wing of the Sanstha's Gujarat state unit, was also present on this occasion.
In his address, Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi made two requests to Shankaracharya Shri Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati Ji:
1. Tolerance within the family and society should be absolute (100%); this is what you have taught us, and it is a part of individual character. However, you have not taught that tolerance should be zero when it comes to national character. Had Prithviraj Chauhan not forgiven Mohammad Ghori after showing tolerance the first time, the history of India would have been different today. This lesson needs to be imparted now.
2. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose wanted to make military training mandatory for the youth of the country, but successive Indian governments failed to implement this. Colonel Tyagi stated that he leads the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha and they have developed a syllabus for basic military training in schools; lesson plans for every subject have been prepared, faculty is ready, and they have already conducted half a dozen such courses. If you include this point in your agenda, we will become better equipped to face future threats. A child who undergoes this training will neither burn public property nor remain defenseless; they will be able to protect themselves and contribute to the security of their village.
