June 19, 2026, Shaheed Smarak Park, Meerut Road, Ghaziabad: Today, on the eve of World Refugee Day, a delegation from the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha visited the Martyrs' Memorial, saluted the fallen heroes, and pledged to raise the voices of those who have become refugees within their own country.

Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi (Vir Chakra awardee), National President of the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, stated that while providing food, clothing, shelter, and basic amenities to refugees is the government's responsibility, the organization would undertake a challenging struggle to ensure their resettlement in their original homes; this is because dignity cannot be weighed against material amenities. Consequently, it was decided today that the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha would establish a 'Refugee Office' to call upon refugees wishing to return to their homes to get in touch with the organization. Today, apart from the armed forces, there is no other institution in the country that commands such trust.

Today's proceedings were conducted under the guidance of Professor (Dr.) Pawan Sinha 'Guru Ji', the National Patron of the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha. On this occasion, the delegation also had the privilege of visiting the Pavan Chintan Dhara Ashram.
