The contribution of Indian soldiers is paramount in realizing the vision of 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat' (One India, Great India). Soldiers hailing from diverse cultures, languages, and religions stand as the most vibrant symbols of 'unity in diversity.' By guarding the borders, they preserve the nation's integrity and strengthen the spirit of national unity and discipline. A soldier from Visakhapatnam might make the ultimate sacrifice while eliminating terrorists on the Kashmir border to uphold the nation's integrity—this, indeed, is the essence of 'Ek Bharat.'

All State Presidents of the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha emphasized that the role of ex-servicemen is indispensable to the 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat' campaign, as they serve as shining examples of dedication to duty, discipline, and integrity for others.
