July 9, 2026; Headquarters, Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, 133-B Model Town East, Ghaziabad – An online meeting was held today involving state presidents of the women's wing of the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha and other special representatives. The discussion focused on the appropriate punishment for the 32 individuals involved in the rape of a 13-year-old girl and the measures needed to prevent such incidents from recurring.

The suggestions put forward by the female office-bearers were as follows:

1. The perpetrators should not be granted bail.

2. The perpetrators should face punishments similar to those in Arab countries.

3. No lawyer should represent the accused in court.

4. A letter should be written to the President and the Home Minister requesting a meeting.

5. Each state president should submit a memorandum to the Governor of her respective state.

6. Judges should deliver a verdict on this case within three months—unlike the Nirbhaya case.

7. The Constitution should be amended to mandate public execution (hanging) for such rapists.

8. The families and future generations of the perpetrators should face social ostracization.

9. TV serials featuring conspiracies, violence, the erosion of social values, family discord, or double-entendre language should be banned.

10. Recognition of 'live-in relationships' should be immediately revoked.

11. All schools should educate students about the 11 duties enshrined in Article 51(A) of the Indian Constitution.

Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi, National President of the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, stated that when similar crimes occur frequently and in large numbers, the most effective deterrent is to apprehend the perpetrators in a specific case and ensure they receive a punishment that exceeds expectations—delivered in record time. This would set a precedent for others.
