July 18, 2026, Lok Bhavan (formerly Raj Bhavan), Dehradun Cantt: A grand national seminar was organized here today under the aegis of the Education Wing of the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha on the theme "Value-Based Education and Indian Knowledge Tradition in the National Education Policy 2020."

The chief guest, Hon'ble Governor of Uttarakhand Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh, along with Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi (National President, Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha), Major General O.P. Soni, Lieutenant Ashwani Kumar Bakshi, Professor Neelam Pawar, Shri Rajan Chhibbar, Major General Thapliyal, and Swami Chidanand Saraswati, remarked that education devoid of morality is akin to the *Tesu* (flame-of-the-forest) flower—possessing color but lacking fragrance.
