August 15, 2026; Glam Fort Marriage Garden (near St. Karen's School, Khagaul Road, Danapur, Patna): A grand ceremony was organized here today by a large number of ex-servicemen from Bihar to mark Independence Day. The event was attended by Chief Guest Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi (National President of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha and Vir Chakra awardee), Guest of Honour Major General M.L. Aswal (National Vice President of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha), Brigadier Praveen Kumar (State President of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, Bihar), and coordinator Arun Fauji (a decorated veteran of the Ex-Servicemen Association). They emphasized that after retirement, ex-servicemen should set aside distinctions of rank—such as junior or senior—and unite to work in the national interest.
