August 19, AKGEC College, Ghaziabad – Addressing students and faculty members from two new batches at the college today, Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi (Vir Chakra awardee and National President of the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha) urged everyone to take three pledges:

1. We will work by going beyond the call of duty.

2. We will evaluate what we see against the touchstone of logic and truth.

3. It is our responsibility—not anyone else's—to understand the 11 duties enshrined in Article 51A of the Constitution and incorporate them into our lives.
