August 21, 2026, Gandhi Bhawan, Delhi University: A program themed 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat' (EBSB) was organized here today under the joint aegis of Delhi University and the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha. Distinguished patriotic citizens and veteran soldiers participated in the event. Professor K.P. Singh (Department of Library and Information Science, Delhi University), Chief Guest Professor Balaram Pani, and Special Guest Shri Rajan Chhibber were present; the event was presided over by Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi (Vir Chakra awardee and National President of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha), who remarked that Sardar Patel and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose were the architects of national integration. In the army, soldiers are paired up as 'buddies'; similarly, under the EBSB initiative, if a pairing is formed between states like Uttar Pradesh and Arunachal Pradesh, the exchange of customs and culinary traditions between the people of these regions will foster mutual harmony.
