September 10, 2026; 133-B, Model Town East, Ghaziabad (Headquarters of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha) – A meeting of the intellectual wing of the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha was held here today to discuss the declining standards of education. Participants included renowned structural engineer Vinod Sharma, noted astrologer Dr. Jitendra Mangal, Advocates Sudhir Kumar and Sunil Kumar, and Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi, President of the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha.
Colonel Tyagi noted that there are over 500 primary and composite government schools in Ghaziabad. Most of these schools lack adequate classrooms; where classrooms exist, there is a shortage of teachers; where teachers are available, they are often assigned duties such as the census; and even when everything else is in order, most schools lack playgrounds. Government school teachers earn salaries many times higher than their private school counterparts, yet the question remains: how are they expected to teach children without proper facilities? Corruption is rampant in the Mid-Day Meal scheme.
