For registration, it should be mandatory to have 33% women in any organization

19 October 2020 , Headquarters Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha , 133 B Modal Town East, Ghaziabad – A webinar of women's wing of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha was organized here today. Inaugurating the webinar, Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi, the National President of the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, said that it is necessary to register the societies formed to conduct any religious, social, cultural or any other kind of activity under the Societies Act of 1860. He said that it is a matter of joy that women are no longer dependent on anyone for their rights, but themselves are moving ahead and demanding that any committee should be registered only when 33% of it is women.

Professor Neelam Pawar said that the bill for reservation of women has not been passed in the Parliament till date. Shall we sit hand in hand? He proposed that no society should be registered until 33% of it is women. He also said that the women parliamentarians in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, we will contact them and give our proposal to them.

Professor Dr. Sapna Bansal of Delhi University said that without waiting for changes in the Societies Registration Act of 1860, we will at least write to all the deputy registrars of the National Capital Region that before registering any society, the members of the committee will be given 33%. Motivate to keep women.

Smt. Anita Chawli from Hyderabad and Ms. Sangeeta Mishra from Calcutta said that the country runs on laws as well as customs. Is it written somewhere in the constitution that firecrackers will be burst on Diwali and colors will be played on Holi, are invitation letters sent to come to the Kumbh Mela? Therefore, when women are participating in India's army, navy and air force and they have equal rights, then the mandatory requirement of 33% women for registration is justified.

From Uttar Pradesh, Mrs. Pooja Sharma, Mrs. Suman Tyagi and Monika Tyagi took the responsibility of preparing a draft in this regard and it was decided that all RWS and AOS would be requested to join each committee to be formed in future. One third will definitely include women. Major Sushil Goyal, the national convener of the education wing of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, took the responsibility of making a video presentation on this topic.
