Col Tyagi was called to inspire in the IRCTC session

30 January 2021, Maple Hotel, Rajokri, Gurgaon – Motivation day was celebrated in a special session of India Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation here today. For which Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi, the National President of the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, who received the Vir Chakra, was invited.

Colonel Tyagi first highlighted the points of IRCTC, due to which this company has become the largest e-commerce portal of the country today. Discounts for frequent travellers, Hotel and flight booking facility, Water sports and Adventure in tourism, SMS and app to inform about 250 train schedules, Option to wait list passengers in Mail train, One day Booking of 14 lakh tickets, registration on National Stock Exchange etc.

But there have also been allegations of data sharing and corruption on IRCTC. Colonel Tyagi suggested that guides should be provided for tourists and a quiz competition should be organized with attractive gifts to entertain the tourists. By doing this the tourists will not get time to get bored. This year this quiz competition can be organized on Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

The strength of the railways is almost equal to the army and the reach is more than the army at various places, so for national integration and character building, IRCTC should use "Jai Hind" everywhere.

On this occasion, Chief General Manager of IRCTC, General Manager of Mumbai Zone Rahul Himalayan, Shri Pankaj Ravish Joint General Manager (Tourism), Nishant Jaiswal Additional General Manager (IT), Anand Jha General Manager Catering and 250 staff officers and employees were present.
